To be listed on the Directory, catering organisations needs to meet criteria such as being located in Victoria, being able to deliver catering in Victoria, and to complete FoodChecker menu assessments.<\/p>\n
The Directory is a free online platform connecting catering organisations with government departments and other organisations looking for healthy and sustainable food options.<\/p>\n
Users are able to find healthier and more sustainable catering options and support caterers who provide social and environmental benefits for the community.<\/p>\n
Mr Pun credits Ms OBree with doing much of the work for Fodder to be included in the directory.<\/p>\n
“Ella did 99 percent of the work,” he said.<\/p>\n
“She introduced me to the concept and assisted in helping us to be assessed. She was very supportive.<\/p>\n
“I think it is a great idea, and we are very pleased to be included.<\/p>\n
“We have lots of healthy options on our menu and we will also be available to cater for special events and functions with special menus.”<\/p>\n
Mr Pun was born in Nepal and moved to Australia in 2008.<\/p>\n
“Before moving to Heathcote I worked for ten years as a chef in Ascot Vale,” he said.<\/p>\n
“We love Heathcote. Everybody knows everybody, and everyone gathers around ready to help each other.”<\/p>\n
