“I sincerely thank you on behalf of our volunteers. Let’s get Court House Crafts up and running again.”<\/p>\n
Following months of uncertainty, the cooperative was offered the present building at a very reduced rent by Palling Bros. Craft Brewery owner Peter Pichut.<\/p>\n
“We are very grateful to Peter,” said Ms Raniolo. “Without his kindness we would not have been able to continue operating.<\/p>\n
“As a not-for-profit organisation our rent is a significant expense.<\/p>\n
“We also purchase yarns, haberdashery and fabrics, providing a large selection and saving people from having to travel further afield.<\/p>\n
“Our range is continually increasing.”<\/p>\n
Since Ms Raniolo’s post on Facebook, many locals have offered suggestions and vowed to update all their friends.<\/p>\n
“The response has been heartwarming,” said Ms Raniolo. “Clearly so many people care about the shop.<\/p>\n
“Hopefully travellers through the town will also get the message and realise we are still open, just in a new location.”<\/p>\n
Court House Crafts is open Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm at its new location at 170 High Street, Heathcote.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
