“Scarves and hats are being distributed through our local St Vinnies branch.<\/p>\n
“The group have been creating worry worms, fidgets, roses and so much more, for children and adults alike who may need to know we all care.<\/p>\n
“Some fabulous toys, including jelly babies and trauma teddies, have gone to our emergency services to pass on when the younger members of our community need some extra support.<\/p>\n
“Precious baby hats, clothes and blankets go to the Sunshine Bendigo group and many families in need.<\/p>\n
“Some items have also been sold with the funds raised put into our building fund, to help support our need for more space here at our beautiful mudbrick building.<\/p>\n
“We are very grateful to this amazing group.”<\/p>\n
Group member Jackie Matthews said they have all become good friends and look forward to their weekly meetings.<\/p>\n
“We enjoy the companionship of everyone and love making things to benefit the community,” Matthews said.<\/p>\n
“We always have plenty of laughs and welcome new members of all abilities making all types of crafts.<\/p>\n
“And wool donations are always appreciated.”<\/p>\n
The Chatty Community Crafters group meets every Wednesday at the community house from 10am to 2pm, and donations of wool are always appreciated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
