{"id":103188,"date":"2026-04-17T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-16T18:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/mcivortimes\/?p=103188"},"modified":"2026-04-15T17:03:26","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T07:03:26","slug":"total-keeps-growing-towards-ses-truck","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/mcivortimes\/news\/total-keeps-growing-towards-ses-truck\/","title":{"rendered":"Total keeps growing towards SES truck"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WITH Community Bank Heathcote and District still matching funds raised towards a 4WD medium rescue truck for SES Heathcote Unit dollar for dollar, the $200k total is getting closer.<\/p>\n<p>Marketing and local engagement manager at Heathcote and District Financial Services Limited Charleen Warburton, this week praised the generosity of locals and visitors.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It seems that the giving keeps happening,&#8221; said Warburton.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;All through summer, our local SES Unit has been there to support us through storms, high winds, fire and flood.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Who knew we could experience them all in summer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With our dollar for dollar matching of all funds raised by SES Heathcote Unit towards their 4WD medium rescue truck, we have now raised $106,334.50.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We know that multiple fundraisers are planned over the coming months so hopefully we can see that tally reach the $200k target before long.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The generosity of locals and visitors alike with rattle tins located in various businesses around town has collected $524.70.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Top Dog Liquor has contributed $270.30 from the 10-cent bottle and can deposit scheme.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Libertas Legal deposited $180 from their recent will writing promotion and Heathcote Community House donated $83.70 from their Zucchini Festival.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Well done and thank you to everyone who has contributed so far.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The proposed new vehicle will make access to many roads in the area much easier.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are again humbled by the generosity of our community and visitors,&#8221; said SES member Sally Duncan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We offer a huge thank you to all for committing to this massive campaign to get a 4WD rescue vehicle for our community and surrounds.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WITH Community Bank Heathcote and District still matching funds raised towards a 4WD medium rescue truck for SES Heathcote Unit dollar for dollar, the $200k total is getting closer.
