BARRACK Reserve Stadium will be transformed into Rydell High School for an immersive Grease movie sing-a-long experience on Sunday 14 June.<\/p>\n

Heathcote Community House will present the event which includes a diner lunch.<\/p>\n

“It’s all about having fun,” said organiser Sylvia Crewe.<\/p>\n

“We want everyone to let their hair down, forget their troubles and have a great afternoon.<\/p>\n

“Barrack Reserve Stadium will be transformed back into the 1950s and we are encouraging everyone to dress up to suit the occasion.<\/p>\n

“Dress up as your favourite movie character and you could win some great prizes.<\/p>\n

“There will also be an opportunity to win prizes with other fun activities during the afternoon, including a raffle and the chance to bid on some fabulous items.”<\/p>\n

“The Heathcote Football Netball Club will open the bar with drinks available at bar prices. All profits from the bar will go to the club.<\/p>\n

“We are very grateful to Heathcote Film Festival for providing their equipment and to Roadshow permissions as we will be showing the original Grease movie.<\/p>\n

“Everyone is invited to join in and sing along with all the hits.”<\/p>\n

Proceeds from the event will go towards helping to repair and maintain the much-loved community house mudbrick buildings that need some structural work.<\/p>\n

Tickets are $35 per person which includes the 1950s Grease style diner lunch.<\/p>\n
