Limitless freshly brewed tea and coffee, always served in cups and saucers.<\/p>\n<p>Accompanied by the Platform Souls group of musicians from Maldon.<\/p>\n<p>Beth Higgins will be selling her amazing range of plants. Sue Oldfield will have some beautiful knitting, all natural fibres.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a raffle with numerous draws. Photo: Plaistow Homestead.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Guests are welcome to wander the gardens and relax for as long as you wish. Parking is on the driveway or front paddock, however if you are not very good on your feet let the guys on the driveway know and they will allow you to park closer to the house.<\/p>\n<p>After a very dry Spring and Summer, our gardens are still looking okay. Early bulbs are flowering, the autumn leaves are showing and the grass is green.<\/p>\n<p>Plaistow was first occupied by Europeans in 1840, part of the house dates back to the late 1840s and 1850s with the house store building and trees listed by Heritage Victoria.<\/p>\n<p>Entry is by donation at the house\/garden gate. To get to Plaistow from Newstead follow the Pyrenees Highway for 4km and turn left onto Rodborough Road.
