AUSTRALIAN all-rounder Cameron Green is poised to nominate for the Indian Premier League for the first time with riches possibly awaiting the twenty-three-year-old.<\/p>\n

Following Pat Cummins\u2019 decision to not play in next year\u2019s tournament, it\u2019s believed that Green could well become Australia\u2019s most expensive buy in December\u2019s auction.<\/p>\n

Blessed with power-hitting, genuine pace with the ball and great hands in the field, Green could be the ultimate package in the shortest form of the game.<\/p>\n

While Cummins himself would rather his star all-rounder wrap himself in cotton wool and focus purely on his Australia duties, he said there\u2019s no way he could tell his younger teammate to not take the opportunity in front of him.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah potentially [Green will nominate for the IPL],\u201d Cummins told SEN 1170 The Run Home<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll wait and see, I think the auction is a little while away. Selfishly as a captain, I\u2019d love for him to save all of his energy for Australia.<\/p>\n
