THE Bendigo Ambassador Pass is back after a two-year hiatus and it\u2019s offering residents the rare opportunity to accompany out-of-town guests to a plethora of attractions either for free, or with certain perks and discounts.<\/p>\n
Bendigo Tramways Talking Tram Tour, the Central Deborah Gold Mine Experience Tour, the Bendigo Pottery Interpretive Museum, Bendigo Town Hall and Sandhurst Gaol tours, the Golden Dragon Museum, and Discovery Science and Technology Centre are all offering zero-cost entry, as long as you bring a visitor.<\/p>\n
The Great Stupa, Star Cinema, Pinot & Picasso, Ms Batterhams, Flow Retreat, plus winery Balgownie Estate Bendigo have also joined the program.<\/p>\n
The Pass is available to all Bendigonians and can be obtained by filling in a form on the Bendigo Region website.<\/p>\n
City of Greater Bendigo\u2019s manager tourism and major events, Terry Karamaloudis, said the pass makes it easier and cheaper for anyone to accompany friends and relatives to enjoy the best of Greater Bendigo\u2019s experiences, and to \u201chave a lot of fun together.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI encourage residents to take advantage of the many great offers under the ambassador pass scheme,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust complete a super quick form on the Bendigo Tourism website and the pass will be emailed to you.<\/p>\n
\u201cOnce you\u2019ve signed up for your ambassador pass, to redeem an offer simply visit one of the listed businesses and show it.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou may be requested to present identification at participating venues.\u201d<\/p>\n
