{"id":86909,"date":"2022-12-16T04:58:20","date_gmt":"2022-12-15T17:58:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/mcivortimes\/?p=86909"},"modified":"2022-12-16T09:19:42","modified_gmt":"2022-12-15T22:19:42","slug":"sen-launches-new-bendigo-radio-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/mcivortimes\/news\/sen-launches-new-bendigo-radio-station\/","title":{"rendered":"SEN launches new Bendigo radio station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SPORTS Entertainment Network, better known as SEN, has announced it\u2019s launching a new broadcast radio station in the region, SENTrack Bendigo 87.8FM, next year.<\/p>\n<p>The station will be the first-ever racing and sports channel dedicated to Bendigo as part of SEN\u2019s further push in regional Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The format will include SEN&#8217;s entertaining chasing, pacing and racing content and sporting analysis in a 24 hours a day, seven days a week.<\/p>\n<p>Listeners can cheer along with the SENTrack team, with the likes of Gareth Hall, Cam Luke, Campbell Brown and David&#8217; Taggs&#8217; Taggart providing an entertaining approach with tips, analysis and news for all the racing action.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the news station will feature the popular and the agenda-setting SEN <em>Breakfast<\/em> program featuring Gary Lyon, Tim Watson, Nathan Buckley, Kane Cornes and David King.<\/p>\n<p>The arrival of SENTrack Bendigo 87.8FM sees SEN deepen its connection to the region that also includes ownership of the two-time WNBL Champions, the Bendigo Spirit, who are currently enjoying an undefeated season.<\/p>\n<p>Listeners were previously available to stream SEN content via the digital channel SEN Bendigo and syndicated programming such as <em>AFL Nation<\/em> and <em>Sportsday<\/em> through local Radio KLFM.<\/p>\n<p>SEN will continue to provide those programs to KLFM, along with <em>Off The Bench<\/em> and <em>This Is Your Journey<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>SEN Chief Executive Craig Hutchison said he was thrilled to bring more racing and sport content to the Bendigo airwaves.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Regional communities are in our DNA, and we&#8217;re excited to bring our SEN brand of chasing, pacing and racing, along with other sports content to the 87.8 FM dial,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is a rich history of sport in Bendigo.<\/p>\n<p>The region has produced Brownlow Medallists, Baggy Green legends, NBA Draft Picks, and Olympians.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe look forward to playing our role in fostering racing and sports interest and participation in the region for many years to come.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>SENTrack Bendigo 87.8FM will launch in early 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SPORTS Entertainment Network, better known as SEN, has announced it\u2019s launching a new broadcast radio station in the region, SENTrack Bendigo 87.8FM, next year.
