Ms Ward said teaching in the original building had been difficult.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was cluttered and fairly dirty, and there was no continuity between the classrooms.\u201d<\/p>\n
Grade 6 student William echoed his teacher\u2019s sentiments.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think the best thing about the new building is that the rooms are bigger,\u201d he said. \u201cThe teachers don’t have to jump between classrooms and they can just teach all of us at once.\u201d<\/p>\n
Newly appointed principal Nick Williamson said students loved the new rooms.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey were also impressed with the size of the whiteboards, the TVs and all of the interactive equipment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe parents had a walk-through and they were blown away with the space we have, they loved it, and they\u2019re all really happy with it.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said he couldn\u2019t make a comparison as he hadn\u2019t seen the old building, but he was very happy with what the school was now able to offer the community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
