THE Bendigo Sustainability Festival is back at Garden of the Future in While Hill later this month with guest speakers, community groups, and businesses aiming to inspire people to live less impactful life on the environment.<\/p>\n
There will be over 50 stallholders from across the state as well as local community groups including Landcare, Field Naturalists, Zonta and Country Women\u2019s Association.<\/p>\n
Organiser, Liz Martin, said the festival will have exciting and innovative ideas on show including how to compost hair waste and sustainable alternatives to cemetery burials.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is quite a big movement in people that want to get composted when they die,\u201d she said. \u201cSo, that will be an interesting discussion.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had the people who made the burial shrouds last year, so I think it\u2019s something that people are really starting to think about.\u201d<\/p>\n
