The Saints are back on their court at Heathcote\u2019s Barrack Reserve to play Lockington Bamawm United this Saturday.<\/p>\n
On a one and four record, Heathcote is determined to be four and four by the season\u2019s halfway mark.<\/p>\n
Saints\u2019 co-coach and gun mid-courter Brooke Bolton said the disappointment of last Saturday\u2019s two-goal loss to Mount Pleasant at Toolleen would be a driving force.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s really important to stay positive,\u201d Bolton said. \u201cWe played really good netball for three quarters, but dropped away and Mounts was good enough to capitalise.<\/p>\n
\u201cBeing beaten by a small margin hurts, but there were a lot of great signs for us.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was not an easy preparation for the match against Mounts because of injury, illness, and unavailability, so I was really proud of what the team did.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are yet to put a four-quarter effort together.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s a goal as coaches and players we are working hard to achieve and will be trying to do against Lockington Bamawm.\u201d<\/p>\n
Being at home, Heathcote will start favourite to take the points, yet Bolton was honest in her assessment of the competition.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s no easy games in this league,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
The Saints\u2019 run to the halfway mark includes the 3 June clash on North Bendigo\u2019s court, a home game against Huntly on 17 June after the league\u2019s general bye for the for the King\u2019s Birthday long weekend.<\/p>\n
