THE electric and iconic Pseudo Echo are coming to Bendigo later this year to celebrate the release of their new double album.<\/p>\n
The Ultimate tour celebrates the bands 40-year music career led by the bands founder, Brian Canham.<\/p>\n
In features a two-hour set including the hits Funky Town<\/em>, Listening<\/em>, A Beat For You<\/em>, Don\u2019t Go<\/em>, Living In A Dream<\/em> and Love an Adventure<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s sort of a journey through the years,\u201d said Canham.<\/p>\n The 80s saw the group introduce the electro sound of a keyboard into rock, were the first unrecorded band to appear on Countdown<\/em>, and had top 10 hit on in international charts.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I started experimenting in my teens the biggest competition was that there were so many bands, there was one on every corner,\u201d said Canham.<\/p>\n \u201cI could hear a difference between the music I heard on the radio and the music I heard on street corners, and that was keyboards.<\/p>\n \u201cI got so obsessed with electronic music after that and I knew that was what I wanted to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
