PYRAMID Hill faces a Mitiamo line-up which has marked a hat-trick of wins in Saturday\u2019s next round of senior footy in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL season.<\/p>\n
The Bulldogs will start favourite on home turf at Mitchell Park, but will be wary of an opponent which has beaten Maiden Gully YCW, Inglewood and Newbridge the past three rounds.<\/p>\n
In last Saturday\u2019s play, Pyramid Hill bounced back from a 20-goal drubbing from Marong the previous round to beat Bridgewater by 89 points.<\/p>\n
Jesse Sheahan led the Dogs\u2019 attack on five goals to be among the best with Billy Micevski, Zach Alford and Zac Dingwall.<\/p>\n
Across at Beck Legal Riverside Oval at Newbridge it was Mitiamo which beat the Maroons by eight goals.<\/p>\n
It was Doug Thomas, Andrew Cussen and Luke Lougoon who led the way for the Jon Varcoe-coached Mitiamo.<\/p>\n
Back in round six Pyramid Hill thrashed the Roos by 162 points at Mitiamo\u2019s John Forbes Oval.<\/p>\n
The Superoos have improved dramatically since then.<\/p>\n
After a bye, Bears-Lagoon Serpentine is back home at Gadsden Finance Serpentine Reserve to take on the unbeaten Marong.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s third against first, but just a fortnight ago the Linton Jacobs-coached Marong showed there\u2019s a huge gulf between the Panthers and the rest.<\/p>\n
Marong\u2019s latest hit-out ended in a 21-goal win against Calivil United on home turf at Malone Park.<\/p>\n
Newbridge is back at Riverside Oval to take on Maiden Gully YCW and both are on the rebound from defeat.<\/p>\n
In round six the Jay McDonald-coached Maiden Gully YCW beat the Maroons by a goal.<\/p>\n
Key players for the Eagles include Tyler Miles, Brandon Dimech and Hamish McCartney.<\/p>\n
A win will lift the Eagles from the bottom rung on the ladder.<\/p>\n
Players to watch for Newbridge include Caleb Argus, Angus Fortune and Dylan Lloyd.<\/p>\n
Calivil United is at home to play Bridgewater.<\/p>\n
The Demons tackle an opponent determined to strike back after three consecutive defeats.<\/p>\n
In round six, Bridgewater beat the Anthony Dennis-coached Calivil United by 43 points.<\/p>\n
