HEATHCOTE\u2019S youngest students have just celebrated one hundred days of schooling.<\/p>\n
At Heathcote Primary, the preps reflected on what they loved doing most.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe get to do free play,\u201d said pupil Pippa said. While classmate Sammy had several favourite activities.<\/p>\n
\u201cI like being in the playground, free play and maths,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Aldane picked cutting and pasting as something he really enjoyed.<\/p>\n
Their teacher, Kym Childs, said it was rewarding to see how much the young leaners had progressed since the start of the year.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey’ve really grown in all learning areas,\u201d she said. \u201cThings like their fine motor skills have developed too.\u201d<\/p>\n
Holy Rosary preps were quick to nominate their top picks as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cI like writing, playing in the playground, and sport,\u201d said prep student Clancy.<\/p>\n
For fellow pupil Ted it was PE, writing and playing outside, while another young leaner, Eva, chose writing, sport, and art.<\/p>\n
Holy Rosary teacher Prue Harris echoed similar sentiments to her Heathcote Primary counterpart.<\/p>\n
