WITH term three school holidays on the horizon, parents might be starting to think of things to do to keep the kids occupied.<\/p>\n
Following a popular holiday program last school break, The Discovery Centre has more planetarium and vertical slide sessions for its new program Matter of Life.<\/em><\/p>\n The program is essentially a story of how the energy is transformed through matter, said general manager Alissa Van Soest.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re going to start with the big bang, and we\u2019re going to head down to how life was created,\u201d said Ms Van Soest.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ll follow energy from the sun\u2019s rays, into plants, through the food chain, and then what happens afterwards.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s going to be a big topic, but I think it\u2019s going to be a lot of fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
