BENDIGO Spirit is bracing for a hot start when the Women\u2019s National Basketball League\u2019s 2023-24 tips off next month.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s consecutive home games for Spirit at Red Energy Arena as the faces reigning champion Townsville Fire in round one on 4 November, and Sydney Flames at the West Bendigo stadium on 10 November.<\/p>\n
Spirit general manager David Ingham said membership numbers were on the rise.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is growing interest in the Spirit and women\u2019s sport in general,\u201d Ingham said.<\/p>\n
Spirit supporters can choose from a variety of membership packages.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can choose an eight-game package, which includes admission to all Bendigo home games, a four-game package, or a supporter package designed for those who want to stay updated on the Spirit, but may not be able to be courtside for matches,\u201d Ingham said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs Bendigo\u2019s sole representative in a national competition we take pride in making our home games accessible to all.\u201d<\/p>\n
