A CHURCH at the Brewery event celebrating Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ will be held again at Palling Bros Brewery on 10 December.<\/p>\n
The service will begin at 11am in the outdoor area.<\/p>\n
\u201cMany people like to attend church but not in a church building,\u201d said Reverend Bron Jones from the Heathcote Community Home Church.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is an opportunity to be part of a traditional Christmas church service in an informal setting.<\/p>\n
\u201cI will be talking about how Christmas began and the origins of many of our Christmas traditions.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd we will sing carols. Everyone loves singing carols.\u201d<\/p>\n
Church at the Brewery began in 2021 with 50 people attending the Celebrating Christmas event.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was great to see so many people, especially those who no longer attend regular church services,\u201d said Reverend Jones\u2019 husband, John Robertson.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was well attended again last year and we are hoping lots of people will join us.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is a free event and Bron and I will be providing the music to accompany the carols.\u201d<\/p>\n
After the service, attendees are invited to stay and have lunch at the brewery.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s always lovely to join with everyone and have lunch and a chat,\u201d said Reverend Jones.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are very grateful to Peter Pichut at Palling Bros Brewery, for letting us use the venue. He is always very supportive.\u201d<\/p>\n
