Other results for Heathcote were Bill Garnder on -9, Maurice Lee off by -12 and Adam Luxford at -8.<\/p>\n
Despite the defeat, Heathcote is a win and six points clear of second-placed Serpentine.<\/p>\n
The Saints are +89 shots, while Serpentine is up 56 shots.<\/p>\n
On the player ladder, Chris Morcom, Greg Speirs and Eileen O\u2019Brien are second, third and fourth.<\/p>\n
Heathcote\u2019s division six team will also be keen to strike back from a 30-shot loss inflicted on home turf by Kangaroo Flat in the fifth round.<\/p>\n
The Roos won 74-44 in a contest where Saints\u2019 skipper Peter Cunningham went down by three shots.<\/p>\n
Other results were an eight-shot loss for Denis Kilner, and -19 for Grant Baker.<\/p>\n
Sixth on a two and three record, Heathcote is home to play Marong this Saturday from 1.30pm.<\/p>\n
In midweek pennant, Heathcote is home to face Strathfieldsaye in Monday\u2019s match at 9.30am.<\/p>\n
Both teams are locked on two and four records, but the seventh-placed Strathfieldaye is on 35 points and -41 shots while the the Saints are 29 and -74.<\/p>\n
In last Monday\u2019s play, Heathcote could not halt the ladder-leading Harcourt\u2019s run to a 14-67 to 2-48 victory.<\/p>\n
