METRICON customer and first-time homeowner Matt Stahl recently received the keys to his brand-new home.<\/p>\n
Through hard work, Mr Stahl saved up to buy a block of land in Campbell\u2019s Creek, situated just outside of Castlemaine, in 2020.<\/p>\n
Growing up in Kyneton, Mr Stahl always knew he would be destined to work in a hands-on profession and has been a landscaper for the last seven years.<\/p>\n
\u201cGrowing up, dad and I always looked at Metricon homes, and I always wanted to build a Santorini because I loved the big open floorplan,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI also loved the unique Aspen facade, so when building my first home, I had Metricon at the top of his list to help make my home-building dream a reality.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m 27 and wanted to move out of home and have my own space, build something from scratch, just the way I wanted it, and obviously, I want to be proud of my home.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t think it would be possible, however, when I first spoke to the team at Metricon, they guided me through the financials and showed me just how achievable it could be.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs a local living five minutes up the road and working in the area, I wanted to be involved with the build process from start to finish and enjoyed excellent site access throughout the construction phase.<\/p>\n
\u201cI loved being able to finish work and have something to look forward to, coming around to have a look and see what they had done and speaking with the build team.<\/p>\n
\u201cBuilding my first home, I wanted to savour the whole process, pick out all of colours and finishes, so I went up to Studio M in Shepperton, and it was great working with the knowledgeable team there who made it very, very easy to pick out what was going to match.<\/p>\n
\u201cOnce the home was ready, the attention to detail was impressive, especially with my build team at the end of the process.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m really happy with how everything\u2019s gone. I got the keys on a Friday night, and by the end of the weekend, I had moved everything in. It was great to cook a meal in my very own kitchen.<\/p>\n
\u201cNaturally being a Landscaper I couldn\u2019t wait to start working on the outdoor areas, too.\u201d<\/p>\n
