Maurice Lee was beaten by 10 shots and Chris Morcom by 13 as the Royals ruled, 83-66.<\/p>\n
In Division Six, Heathcote will aim to follow up a great win against the ladder-leading by taking the points at Castlemaine.<\/p>\n
The Saints marked a 23-shot win against Inglewood and moved to third place in the premiership race.<\/p>\n
All of Heathcote\u2019s rinks won against the Woodies.<\/p>\n
Grant Baker by 10 shots, Brian Berger clinched a 25-24 victory, and Brian Taylor won by 12 shots.<\/p>\n
Five shots on the 10th end gave Baker an eight-shot lead.<\/p>\n
Beaten on the opening eight ends, Berger was down by 15 shots.<\/p>\n
From there the Saints were beaten on just three more ends and won the final end by four to clinch a dramatic victory.<\/p>\n
Taylor\u2019s team was level after the 9th and 13th ends.<\/p>\n
Six shots on the 16th and victory on the last two ends sealed victory.<\/p>\n
In Midweek Pennant, Heathcote outpointed the second-placed Castlemaine by 29 shots in Monday\u2019s Division Two match.<\/p>\n
The Saints were in hot form at home to record a 70-41 victory.<\/p>\n
Dot Cutajar led by six shots after 15 ends on the way to a 17-14 result.<\/p>\n
Eileen O\u2019Brien\u2019s rink led by 13 shots after 14 ends and took the points, 29-10.<\/p>\n
From 10 shots after five ends, Lorraine Speirs fought back brilliantly to claim a 24-17 victory.<\/p>\n
