after he saw an ad for an adults&#8217; group in Melbourne.\u00a0<\/span><span interested in learning and playing DnD and wanted to provide an opportunity for them.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Since early 2023 the pair have been running the workshops each Tuesday evening, and there are four or five workshops per program.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cIt\u2019s been great, parents have been thrilled,\u201d said Mr Dannett. \u201cBecause we\u2019re volunteering, they\u2019ve wanted to give us money [which] we can\u2019t accept.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">While many of the kids who have been through the program so far were interested in returning for another round, Mr Dannett said they simply did not have the resources.<\/span><span and all the mechanics of the game and then the following four weeks is spent actually playing through the start of the story.\u201d<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cThe mechanics in Dungeons and Dragons are really guided by their imagination, so it\u2019s whatever they want to do,\u201d said Mr Dannett.<\/span><span dragon\u2019s doing something at the top of the mountain it\u2019s entirely up to them how they want to approach the situation.<\/span><span it\u2019s all their decision on where they want to go and what they want to do in the game.<\/span><span program will be starting up again in February next year, and each child will receive a free starter set donated by the Bendigo Hub.<\/span><span
