HEATHCOTE CFA members have been busy getting ready to help Santa on his annual lolly run on a fire truck around the streets of the town.<\/p>\n
The run will take place tomorrow night (Saturday 23 December), leaving the Heathcote Fire Station at 7pm.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s always very popular and the run takes the same route every year,\u201d said CFA secretary Laraine Leask,<\/p>\n
From the fire station, Santa and his helpers will stop at various corners around town to distribute bags of lollies and wave to children.<\/p>\n
The first stop will be on the corner of Kilmore and Victoria Hill roads, followed by Herriot and Ebden streets.<\/p>\n
After you\u2019ll find the big guy and CFA volunteers at Ebden and Chauncey, Ebden and Pohlman, Ebden and Mitchell, Mitchell and Playne, Playne and Chauncey, Playne and Herriot, Wright and Chauncey, Wright and Pohlman.<\/p>\n
Then it\u2019s on to Wright and Mitchell, Shakespeare and Skully\u2019s Lane, and lastly Skully\u2019s Lane and Wattle Drive before returning to the Heathcote Fire Station.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd, it\u2019s not just for the kids,\u201d said Ms Leask. \u201cAdults love to get a bag of lollies, too.<\/p>\n
