THE annual Heathcote Country Women’s Association fashion parade held last week saw a larger than expected audience gather to view the fashions.<\/p>\n

CWA president Marj Harris said she was thrilled at the response to the event.<\/p>\n

“It was a great crowd and exceeded our expectations,” she said.<\/p>\n

“Everyone had a great time viewing the fashions and we had a delicious afternoon tea.”<\/p>\n

The clothes were presented by Kay’s Classic Fashions from Melbourne and CWA members helped to model the clothes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“It’s lovely to see everyone back in Heathcote again,” said proprietor Kay Thompson.<\/p>\n

“We always receive a wonderful welcome and terrific feedback on the clothes.<\/p>\n

“It’s a great get-together and everyone seems very happy with the fashions.<\/p>\n

“At the end of the event we donate ten percent of the takings to the CWA.”<\/p>\n

Funds raised by the CWA help the community.<\/p>\n
