MITCHELL Shire CEO Brett Luxford has responded recent community satisfaction survey results.<\/p>\n
Mr Luxford thanked everyone who participated in the 2024 survey.<\/p>\n
“Your input is essential in shaping our future actions and priorities,” he said.<\/p>\n
“The recent community satisfaction survey results were disappointing but have highlighted some areas where we need to improve, particularly in maintaining our road networks.<\/p>\n
“We understand the community’s frustrations, share their concerns and have been undertaking significant work in areas highlighted by the survey.<\/p>\n
“It is encouraging to see our efforts in family support services have been well received and I am pleased to see positive results in our customer service scores.”<\/p>\n
Mitchell Shire acting mayor Cr Nathan Clark also thanked participants and said the feedback would help to understand how to better serve the community.<\/p>\n
“I’m committed to making Mitchell Shire a great place to live, work, and play,” he said.<\/p>\n
“The survey pointed out areas that need improvement, especially in local infrastructure and planning due to population growth.<\/p>\n
