A SUCCESSFUL performance by Mudbrick Motley Theatre Group last month has enabled a donation to Bendigo Legacy, which took place last week.<\/p>\n
Michael Carroll, on behalf of the theatre group, presented a cheque for $500 to Bendigo Legacy president Don Kent.<\/p>\n
The money will go towards supporting veterans’ families in the Bendigo region.<\/p>\n
The donation was raised from the theatre group’s recent comedy play production The Old People are Revolting.<\/p>\n
Mr Caroll was one of the performers in the play and Legacy is a charity close to his heart.<\/p>\n
“A larger than expected audience helped us make this donation,” Mudbrick Motley Theatre Group founder Maree Hingston said.<\/p>\n
“We were able to fulfil a promise.<\/p>\n
“We were all very excited about the result and truly appreciate the support from people in Heathcote.”<\/p>\n
