SIXTH generation show woman Ellana Miller has been attending agricultural shows for as long as she can remember.<\/p>\n
The popular grade 6 student will have her own stall at this year’s Heathcote Show.<\/p>\n
“This will be the second year I have had my own stall,” Ellana said.<\/p>\n
“I will be selling snow cones and cordial.”<\/p>\n
Now living in Heathcote where she attends Heathcote Primary School, Ellana has toured the country with family members from both sides of her family.<\/p>\n
“I love the experience of all the different towns and areas,” she said. “Being with family is great.<\/p>\n
“I have helped my mother at shows in Bendigo and Shepparton.<\/p>\n
“My pop, Charlie Miller, will help me at the Heathcote Show, and my dad builds custom trailers for show people.”<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, Ellana was given the all-clear after developing leukaemia when she was six.<\/p>\n
“The doctors told me I have very little chance of it ever coming back,” she said.<\/p>\n
Besides her interest in shows, Ellana is a keen supporter of the Brisbane Broncos, and her favourite player is Reece Walsh.<\/p>\n
“I also have two rabbits, and I love dogs,” she said.<\/p>\n
“When I grow up, I might continue doing shows or perhaps I could be a vet. I love all animals.”<\/p>\n
Ellana will be donating 50 cents from each snow cone sold at the show to cancer charity.<\/p>\n
The Heathcote Show will be held on Melbourne Cup Day at the showgrounds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
