AFTER another successful Halloween Trunk or Treat night last week, the All Ages Activities Committee are already planning for 2025.<\/p>\n
High Street was filled with ghosts and monsters, fairies, witches, and lots of smiling faces.<\/p>\n
“The night went beautifully,” said committee member Yaz Fisher. “The committee really pulled together.<\/p>\n
“It was a really big turn out from all ages in the community and we saw a lot more homemade costumes this year.<\/p>\n
“Next year, as Halloween falls on a Friday, we are planning to make it a bigger and better event for the community.<\/p>\n
“We are hoping to go back to our original plan of hosting the event at the oval.<\/p>\n
“This would make it safer for the community, with everyone in the one place and less road crossing involved.<\/p>\n
“We would love to see more community involvement from anyone willing to help in any way they can. It would be great if we could get businesses involved.<\/p>\n
“We love seeing local people and their businesses involved in community events and showcasing what a lovely community and town we have.<\/p>\n
“Fingers crossed we can get enough people involved for Heathcote Halloween 2025 and make our plans come to life.”<\/p>\n
Emily Alexandra said it was a smooth night for both children and adults.<\/p>\n
“The event is very well run, and it is wonderful to see so many happy faces,” she said.<\/p>\n
“Everyone is well behaved, and we have really enjoyed bringing our daughter Leonie out to enjoy the fun.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
