“We would do schoolwork each morning and we spent afternoons in the kitchen. We called it COVID Cooking and it’s great to see the ongoing results.<\/p>\n
“Taylah even learned fractions from the cooking sessions as many recipes called for half or quarter cups of certain ingredients.”<\/p>\n
Showman’s Guild delegate Adam Reardon said showmen always enjoy bringing their rides and attractions to Heathcote.<\/p>\n
“The Heathcote Show committee, and the people of Heathcote always treat us very well and we appreciate it,” he said.<\/p>\n
“There are some locations where we are treated like second class citizens with people thinking we just come into town, take their money and leave.<\/p>\n
“It’s not like that at all. At every show we attend we give back by visiting the local supermarkets, pubs and eateries and filling up with fuel.<\/p>\n
