THE jolly man in the red suit is preparing for his annual lolly run on the CFA fire truck tonight, Friday 20 December.<\/p>\n
Santa will start his run at Victoria Hill Road at 7pm.<\/p>\n
“From there he will travel along Hospital Street to Jennings Street,” CFA secretary Laraine Leask said.<\/p>\n
“He will turn onto High Street at Gaffney’s Bakery and come back up Herriot Street.<\/p>\n
“The next turn will be down Ebden Street and he’ll go all the way to Mitchell Street.<\/p>\n
“From there he’ll come back down Playne Street to Herriot Street.<\/p>\n
“Next, he’ll go past the fire station and down Wright Street to Shakespeare Street.<\/p>\n
“His final leg will be up to Skullys Lane and the golf course where everyone can say goodbye before he heads home to the North Pole.”<\/p>\n
And Santa has a message for the children: “Please be very careful near roads and Santa’s stops,” he is asking.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
