ABOUT two hundred Heathcote residents enjoyed a pop-up cinema experience at Barrack Reserve last Friday.<\/p>\n

The event was part of the City of Greater Bendigo and Agnico Eagle Fosterville’s Summer in the Parks series, which saw free movie screenings across the region.<\/p>\n

Families enjoyed picnics and snacks while watching Migration, an animated story about a family of ducks.<\/p>\n

“It was great to see so many people attending,” participant Steph O’Brien said.<\/p>\n

“There were lots of laughs and everyone enjoyed the movie.<\/p>\n

“The kids played with their friends and the adults relaxed in the shade of Barrack Stadium.<\/p>\n

“I look forward to more events like this. It is a great way to bring the community together.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
