Celebrate the diversity of the Limestone Coast region at the annual South East Field Days – South Australia’s premier two-day agricultural event held at Yakka Park, the purpose-built field days facilities in Lucindale on March 21 and 22.

This year heralds the 45th year that the event has been running and once again the organisers have put together an exciting two days crammed with exciting attractions and lots of crowd favourites.

With more than 500 exhibitors the focus is on showcasing the latest in agricultural products, services, and equipment.

There are entertainment options for young and old, as well as a multitude of food and locally sourced wines. Meet up with friends for a delicious lunch at one of the many food courts available on site.

Don’t forget the two huge general interest pavilions where you will find all sorts of things to tempt you from craft, clothing, wine tasting and specialty food.

Special guests include Sophie Thomson – ABC’s Gardening Australia – horticulturalist, author and television & radio personality.

Thomson is a presenter on ABC’s Gardening Australia and an ABC radio talk back host with extensive media experience. She writes for major newspapers and magazines and authors books on gardening.

Another special guest for 2025 is Alison Meagher – Butcher Girl Alison. Alison is a passionate advocate for Australian produce with a career that spans both national and international stages. Hailing from country Victoria but globally trained, Alison grew up on a small Black Angus farm which ignited her love for the food industry. The live butchery demonstrations throughout our two day event will captivate attendees, with a focus on the ‘Nose to Tail’ philosophy, enlightening attendees towards sustainable eating habits with a fun and light-hearted delivery.

In the AgeTech Pavilion another special guest of the event is Todd Price Nutrien Ag Solutions’ Sustainability Field Manager servicing SA, VIC & TAS. An Agronomist by trade, Todd’s role is to educate growers about all facets of sustainability, help quantify and measure the growers’ emissions profile and offer profitable and productive emission reduction solutions. Todd is a facilitator of the Melbourne University Carbon Neutral Agriculture course and is managing Nutrien’s Low Carbon Canola, Potato and Dairy programs.

Other attractions include: Rob’s Carraige Rides, Adelaide Balloon Man, Old MacDonald’s farm, Randy’s Junk Yard Action Show (Motorcross stunts), Burrungle Park Laser Tag. Music this year we are excited to have Leah Briggs and the South Australian Police Jazz Band.
