Another huge swinging success
Kellie Nobes takes home trophy after Stand Like Stone Foundation major annual fundraising event
She is a stylist by trade and Kellie Nobes showed strong style and technique on the dancefloor, taking home the 2023 Swinging with the Stars trophy after Saturday night’s gala performance.
Partnered with Jayden Green, Kellie emerged victorious in what was another highly entertaining night that saw eight local personalities team up with eight of the region’s strongest dancers to trip the light fantastic – most stepping way outside their comfort zone but happy to take the risk given the cause.
Swinging with the Stars is the Stand Like Stone Foundation’s major annual fundraiser and more than $100,000 was raised by the class of 2023. All money raised stays in the Limestone Coast. The People’s Choice Award, which goes to the highest fundraiser went to Chicago Smith, who was raising her funds for the Penola Coonawarra Sub Fund. More details in next week’s issue of Lifestyle1.
