Are you up to this Titanic task at the library?

With thanks to a donation from the Naracoorte Waterplay Program (Mandy Tonello & Geraldine Mathieson pictured), a giant Titanic LEGO set is now available for community use at the Naracoorte Library and, coincidentally, the donation was handed over on International LEGO Day on January 28.

Costing $1000 and comprising of 9090 pieces, the LEGO set will certainly will require a ‘titanic’ effort from the community to build this iconic ship.

Measuring almost 4.5ft the Titanic is the longest LEGO set ever created. It is also one of the toughest LEGO sets to build. With such a high complexity level, this project is aimed at adult members of the community who can provide guidance to our young LEGO builders. The Titanic LEGO set will be available to build on Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings and by appointment. (And no – it doesn’t float).
