St Anthony’s student wins Christmas Card competition
Member for Barker Tony Pasin’s annual Barker Christmas Card competition has been another success with hundreds of entries received from across the electorate. Students from years one to five were invited to submit artwork that represented Christmas in their region.
“Yet again we’ve had a fantastic response, with outstanding entries coming in from across the electorate,” Mr Pasin said. “Congratulations to all those students who took the time to create artwork that demonstrated what Christmas means to them, in their unique region of our great State,” said Mr Pasin.
Four entries were selected by Mr Pasin to feature on his 2022 Christmas Cards, one from each region of the Barker electorate- Barossa, Limestone Coast, Riverland and Murray Mallee.
An artwork by Matilda, Year 4, at St Anthony’s Primary School in Millicent was chosen by Mr Pasin to appear on the card to represent the Limestone Coast.
Mr Pasin visited the school last week to congratulate Matilda and presented her with her prize. “It’s really great to see such a festive spirit in the community at this time of year- especially amongst children,” Mr Pasin said.
