Disability service welcomes new leader
Minda Inc, South Australia’s largest disability provider and employer in the state, is excited to announce the appointment of Kat Kenyon as new Regional Manager Limestone Coast.
With more than seven years’ experience in the youth to adult services sector, Kat will bring leadership, as well as strategic and operational management to the organisation with a focus on building strong relationships across the Limestone Coast.
The new role will include developing new local business opportunities and partnerships that enable the growth of services and development in the region.
Kat’s proven track record in the industry and motivation to deliver positive outcomes for the people Minda supports makes her a high-quality appointment to the position.
“I look forward to connecting with the people we support, their families and community to bring positive outcomes, growth and development that will achieve their goals and aspirations,” Kat said. “Together, we will create opportunities to provide a safe and welcoming environment that follows the values of Minda not just as an organisation but as a community.”
Following the launch of Minda’s 2024-2027 Strategic Plan last year, Kat joins the organisation during an exciting new chapter which emphasises taking a person-centred life journey approach.
Executive director service delivery Karen Fullagar expressed her enthusiasm about Kat’s appointment, saying she will play a key role in delivering future success at Minda in the region.
“Kat’s addition reinforces Minda’s commitment to be a leading force for good in South Australia for people with intellectual disability,” Karen said. “She brings a valuable perspective to our team and will be instrumental in driving our future success.”
