Emily emerges as top student
St Martins Lutheran College is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of our Year 12 students in the 2024 South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) results.
This year, students demonstrated exceptional academic performance, with notable success in their Australian Tertiary Admission Rankings (ATAR).
The college was especially proud to announce, Emily Fraser, with an outstanding ATAR of 98.25, as college dux.

The college’s ATAR statistics for 2024 reflect the dedication and hard work of students and staff.
Impressively, 10 per cent of students achieved an ATAR of 95 or above, 21.4 per cent achieved 90 or above, and 52 per cent achieved an ATAR of 80 or higher.
Of the cohort that completed Stage 2 subjects, more than 35 per cent received a grade of A- or above, and 82 per cent received a grade of above B-.
Additionally, Maddison Stafford received a merit in the Research Project, while Piper Chant and Annabelle Mossford MacGregor completed university subjects throughout the year.
Piper studied courses in UniSA’s Accelerate program, achieving high results in her Accounting for Business and Macroeconomics subjects.
Annabelle completed a Human Physiology subject in Flinders University’s Extension Studies program and achieved full marks.
St Martins Lutheran College principal Alan Connah expressed his pride in the students’ achievements.
“Our students have demonstrated exceptional commitment and academic excellence,” he said. “Their results are well deserved and a testament to their hard work. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.”
St Martins SACE coordinator Connie Ferraro also commended the students.
“I am so proud of the achievements of all our Year 12s,” she said. “Their success is a reflection of their commitment, perseverance and dedication throughout their senior years. Their results today are the product of their hard work and the support provided by their families and teachers.”
St Martins Lutheran College continues to support a diverse range of pathways, with many students excelling in vocational education and training (VET).
This year, 61 per cent of students who achieved their SACE also completed VET studies that contributed to their SACE requirements.
