Federal MP commits to $90,000 makeover
MEMBER for Barker Tony Pasin has announced that an elected Dutton Coalition Government will provide funding of $90,000 to the Penola Bowling Club for their planned bowling green redevelopment.
Mr Pasin who has been a strong supporter of the club said the funding would be instrumental in progressing plans for a replacement green and construction of a roof to extend the greens longevity.
“Since 1940 the Penola Bowling Club has been an important part of the local community,” Mr Pasin said. “This funding would ensure the club continues to service the local community, enhancing community connection and improving the sporting infrastructure offering of Penola and surrounds.
“This project is about more than just an upgrade to the bowling green. It forms part a broader vision for community connection, wellbeing and social engagement. It’s about ensuring that the Penola community remains a great place to live, work and raise a family.”
