Festive funding boost

Three Mount Gambier charities have received a much needed pre-Christmas financial boost courtesy of the Rotary Club of Mt Gambier West.

Sunset Kitchen, Foodbank and Four Reasons Why have all received a cash injection as demand for their services only heighten during the festive season.

The community-focussed service club has been fundraising throughout the year at a variety of events including the Mount Gambier Show, Mil Lel Show, Family Truck Show and Party in the Park.

Sunset Kitchen ($2000), Foodbank ($2000) and Four Reasons Why ($1000) are inundated with requests for assistance at this time of the year so the Rotary donations are much appreciated and put to good use.

Sunset Kitchen is a meal service; Food bank provides grocery support and Four Reasons Why helps families in need across a variety of areas.
