Stepping into Leadership Program is run by WoTL (Women Together Learning), an organisation working to grow and inspire women in agribusiness.

Cassidy Neville-Pope, Amy Trevilyan, Emily Clark and Genevieve Kelly are the four Limestone Coast participants as part of the latest round of emerging leaders in agriculture and rural communities participating in a professional development program aimed at supporting inspirational South Australian women to take the next step in their professional journey.

The group of 15 women selected from across regional South Australia will spend the next eight months building their leadership skills through face-to-face professional development, individual coaching, mentoring and webinars.

South Australian Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development Clare Scriven congratulated the latest round of participants.

“I congratulate this year’s cohort of exceptional women, who are excelling in a diverse range of agricultural fields, on being selected for this opportunity to build their leadership skills, expand their knowledge and networks, and grow their confidence,” Minister Scriven said.

“The Government of South Australia recognises the significant role women play in our regional communities and in agribusiness, and through PIRSA, we are proud to support WoTL to deliver the Stepping into Leadership Program, and to make this opportunity accessible to more women.

“The success of this program has continued to grow each year with graduates going from strength-to-strength. I look forward to watching the journey of the 2025 cohort over the coming years.”

WoTL executive officer Kim Blenkiron said she was immensely proud of the impact of the program.

“And the ripple effect it is creating in agriculture and regional communities across South Australia and Australia, Kim said. “Our enduring partnership with PIRSA, alongside growing support from industry and corporate partners, has enabled WoTL to welcome another 15 incredible women into the program for 2025.

“These inspiring women are already making meaningful contributions in their fields.

“Through the Stepping Into Leadership Program, they will have the opportunity to further develop their skills, expand their networks, and strengthen their confidence. It is an honour to support the growth of these exceptional rural leaders and to be part of their journeys.”

Since the program was launched in 2012, more than 160 women have been provided training and support to step into leadership roles in agriculture, associated industries and within their communities.

The 2025 cohort will graduate in October. The 2026 program will be open for applications in mid-September. For more information visit wotl.com.au/sil
