French cinema headed to the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre screen

The Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre is set to shine a spotlight on French cinema with a travelling French Film Festival set to grace the theatre’s screen with a selection of eight movies.

Presented by Country Arts SA, the festival will be in Mount Gambier from April 17 until April 21, giving audiences the opportunity to immerse themselves into reimagining of classic stories, and new stories from French cinema.

This lineup of critically acclaimed films includes comedies, romance, historical drama and biographical stories. Audiences will be transported to the halls of Versailles in Jeanne du Barry, see young determination through the pursual of music in Divertimento, and visit the French countryside in The Nature of Love.
