French film festival headed to Mount Gambier theatre
Bonjour and bienvenue to the inaugural French Film Festival in regional South Australia! Country Arts SA and the Alliance Française French Film Festival have partnered to deliver a series of French films to our regional centres for the first time since the festival started 34 years ago.
The Festival will be held at the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre from April 1-2.
Country Arts SA Chief Executive Anthony Peluso said we are enchantés to be able to bring these quality films to our theatres and showcase the full spectrum of the human experience.
“These films were chosen by the Alliance Française French Film Festival because they represent the best and most popular French language films produced last year,” Mr Pelusi said.
The films have been chosen from the vast line up of films in the Alliance Francaise French Film Festival and there is something for everyone from thriller, drama, comedy and romance.
French Film Festival director Karine Mauris said each story is unique, with that so Frenchy Je ne sais quoi! Voilà! Now is the time to sit back and enjoy the inaugural Alliance Française French Film Festival.
