Agents yarded 26,103 Lambs an increase on the previous market of 14,800 units. Overall quality was good with lambs displaying freshness albeit carrying less weight.

Again the younger and immature lambs displayed dryness. A full field of processor buyers operated along with restocker orders that were selective.

The market was firm to $8.00/head dearer for most weights when comparing to the previous Wednesday market. Top suckers sold to $236/head.

New season light lambs 12 to 16kg sold from $98 to $132/head. Light trade Lambs 18 to 22kg made from $130 to $174/head to realise between 700c and 830c/kg cwt. Medium trade weights 22 to 26kg made from $132 to $210/head to average from 730c to 830c/kg cwt. Heavy Lambs over 26kg made up to 820c/kg for the better quality lines with appeal.
