Her Name is Celeste screening at Oatmill Cinema

The Oatmill Cinema Mount Gambier will host a special regional screening of Her Name is Celeste, a moving documentary created by Adelaide based parents Tim and Michelle McCranor.

This film shares the heartbreaking and courageous story of their daughter Celeste’s stillbirth and Michelle’s mission to run more than 1000km to raise awareness and funds for the Stillbirth Foundation Australia.

Michelle’s run saw her pass through Mount Gambier and touch base with many in the community to share her story.

The documentary blends lived experience, expert voices, and a passionate call for systemic change in how we acknowledge, talk about, and act on stillbirth in Australia, an issue that still claims six babies’ lives every day in this country.

Following the screening, Tim and Michelle will be present for a live Q&A session, offering the community a chance to engage directly, ask questions, and learn more about their journey and advocacy.

The couple are calling on the Mount Gambier community to help us:

• Raise awareness of stillbirth and its impact on families.
• Fill every seat in the cinema (150 total) to show solidarity and support.
• Amplify this message so it reaches far beyond our region.
