Hitting all the right notes

CHOIRS and soloists took to the Wehl Street Theatre stage earlier this month as the Mount Gambier Eisteddfod Choral and Vocal Division was run and won.

The audience was delighted with the standard of talent and the atmosphere was one of fun and camaraderie.

Melbourne adjudicator Rachael Grace said it was an absolute pleasure to witness such a vibrant community of singers at the Mount Gambier Eisteddfod Choral and Vocal Division.

“The talent, courage and heart on display in every age group was inspiring,” Rachael said. “My heartfelt thanks to the organisers, sponsors, volunteers and dedicated music educators who make his eisteddfod possible.”

The divisions new co-directors Michelle Black and Lily Mawson were happy with the event but said that more help is needed form the public for it to continue into the future.
