Iconic location for fundraising lunch

September 28, 2025 BY

THIS October long weekend, the historic Yallum Park Homestead will open its gates for an exclusive fundraising luncheon in support of the upcoming Coonawarra Running Festival and its mental health initiatives.

Hosted by Andrew and Annie Clifford, the event will take place in The Stables at Yallum Park on Sunday, 5 October 2025, offering guests a rare opportunity to experience the timeless surrounds of the 1878 heritage-listed property.

The luncheon will feature a bespoke menu created by Ian Perry of Red Shack, with drinks available from the Cuvee-Co Wines pop-up bar. Guests can also enjoy guided tours of Yallum Park Homestead, renowned as one of Australia’s best-preserved Victorian-era residences.

Adding to the allure, Yallum Park recently served as the filming location for Netflix’s new adaptation of Miles Franklin’s classic novel My Brilliant Career, providing attendees with a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the internationally recognised set.

All proceeds from the event will go directly towards the Coonawarra Running Festival, scheduled for Saturday, 8 November 2025. The festival is dedicated to creating awareness and raising vital funds for mental health support within the Limestone Coast region.

Tickets are limited and can be purchased now via the Coonawarra Running Festival Facebook page or directly through Humanitix.
