Keeping the wheels turning
THE Haven Mount Gambier is a free and confidential women’s information service located at the Mount Gambier Library. The Havens Handy Women Workshop Series will be running a free bike safety & maintenance workshop in June, in collaboration with Crater Lake Cycles and the City of Mount Gambier.
This is your chance to learn how to repair and change a tyre, check brakes and maintain a bicycle. Each participant will receive a free bike maintenance kit to the value of $45, which includes a tyre repair kit, chain lube and bike pump, to help maintain your bike and/or your children’s bikes at home.
The Bike Safety & Maintenance workshop will be held on Wednesday 18th June, 10am – 11.30am @ the Mount Gambier Library, bookings essential, max 15 participants, book through Susie Kranz on 0472 759 829. *Participants are not required to bring their own bicycles to the workshop.
Next month on the 28th of July the Handy Women’s Workshop Series will be collaborating with Bunnings with the focus on power and hand tool usage, bookings can be made through the Bunnings website from the start of July.
