Library to host Writers SA event

Writers SA is bringing Counter Urban Questions to Mount Gambier right in time for Fringe.

Our From the Heart edition will feature local writers and creatives commissioned to create a new piece of writing, poetry or song about what it means to live, love and create in the regions.

Under the guidance of Alysha Herrmann, the selected group will deliver a morning of poetry, performance and maybe even music at The Mount Gambier Library in the form of a Fringe regional event, bringing these new stories to life on Boandik country.

There’s something for every audience member to hear, reflect on and enjoy.

Artist line-up includes Sarah Brokensha, Cameron Horsburgh, Tabitha Lean, Tessa Deak, Josh King, Zawa Rashidi and Alysha Herrmann.

This is a free event, generously supported by the Fringe Fund 2024 and hosted by Mt Gambier Library, but you must register via the Fringe website to attend.
