Losing their locks for charity
The St Martins Lutheran College gymnasium was buzzing with excitement last month as students gathered to witness an unusual lunchtime event, Cut4Cancer.
Five Year 12 students—Caleb, Cameron, Lucy, Joshuah, and Justin—along with Kat Cooper from the Administration team, volunteered to have their hair chopped or shaved to raise funds for the Cancer Council Australia.
The event drew a supportive crowd of peers cheering on the participants as they chopped their hair for a great cause. A special thanks goes to Edie and Bridget, the talented hairdressers who generously donated their time and expertise to make the event a success.
