MJ dancers shine on national stage

Mount Gambier’s MJ Dance Studio has a proud history at the National Showcase in Queensland and the 20254 cohort again impressed at the Star Casino event.

For the first time since 2014, the studio had a top two placing in Dancer of the Year with Violet Davis finishing second in the Junior Division, with three other dancers also finishing Top 10 –Kiera McBain (senior), Olivia Carey (teen) and Ruby Kelly (junior) – with Madi Lane finishing Top 5 in the Senior Division.

Taking on more than 2500 acts, MJ’s troupes again impressed, receiving placings in almost all its senior and teen routines and receiving platinum gold scores (more than 95 out of 100) for the majority of those routines.

MJ’s Teen Hip Hop; Senior Lyrical; Senior Traditional Contemporary and Teen Show Dance all took out their respective categories.
